The area is the perfect place to relax and leave behind the stresses of urban life. The Machars peninsula has mile upon mile of stunning coastline and unspoilt countryside.

It is also steeped in history with the mediaeval city of Whithorn (current population just over 900) only a short walk from the bungalow. 

Also nearby (15 minutes by car) is Wigtown, Scotland’s National Book Town and Scotland’s most southerly distillery which is open to visitors.
